2950 switch and vlan access

Okay, so I'm wondering if this is possible...

I have one port that I want to plug machines in. They can either be on vlan 1 or vlan 189. Is there any way to set up the "switchport access vlan #" command to make it so that both those vlans have access to it?

Not as an access port.

Hope that helps.

There are specific cases when you use 2 different vlans, 1 for voice & other for data. This is what you do when your port participates in both voice & data. You specifically mention which vlan is for voice & which is data. Done as follows:

int fa0/0

switchport mode access

switchport access vlan 100

switch voice vlan 200

Other than such case, you cant have a single port as part of 2 vlans simultaneously.
