i have a WS-C2960-24TC-L

with IOS c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE4

or IOS c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-55.SE7

when switch running on dual power RPS+internal

#sh env all

FAN is OK

SYSTEM TEMPERATURE is OK

POWER is OK

RPS is AVAILABLE

when i unplug the RPS cord

#sh env all

FAN is OK

SYSTEM TEMPERATURE is OK

POWER is OK

RPS is NOT PRESENT

when i unplug the power cord from internal power supply

#sh env all

FAN is OK

SYSTEM TEMPERATURE is OK

POWER is OK

RPS is AVAILABLE

on the old model in 2950 it worked fine, it showed POWER is FAIL. I tried three different 2960 switch and is not work.

How do I know that has a failure in the internal power supply?

You may have to find a SNMP MIB for the individual power supplies and monitor them. Try to do a snmpwalk from a linux PC on the network. Start with the following OID

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.928
