do 2960-S switchs come with the stacking module so that they can be stacked or do you have to buy the stacking module for each switch separately?

All models available with optional Cisco FlexStack stacking module.

Cisco Catalyst 2960S-STACK is optional Stacking Module for all 2960-S LAN Base switches that includes a .5M stack cable.

No DC Power supplies are available.

CAB-STK-E-0.5M

0.5 meters

This is the default cable that ships with the FlexStack module.

So if you order the switch with the stack module it should come with above .5 meter stack cable.

See here for details >  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/white_paper_c11-578928.html

Cheers!
