2960S-48TS-L SFP LEDs Orange?

Hello,

I have two 2960S-48TS-L stacked together.  The Slave switch is normal, but the Master switch has the 4 SFP ports and Fa0 port orange LED from power on, as well, the USB and console ports are both green.  Otherwise, the switch works nominally.  I have link to another switch through one of the afflicted SFP ports and am passing traffic, the other three ports are admin down.  I have no POST failures and can find nothing wrong with the switch, other than that these LEDs are on all the time.  I've tried searching, but find nothing related to this.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Below is output for port which is up, but always orange.

XXXXX#sh int g1/0/49

2960S-48TS-L SFP LEDs Orange?

HI Ganeshh,

Thanks for the reply, as I said, the LEDs are on from the moment power is applied, whether there is anything in them or not.  There is nothing in the logs except for the normal bootup messages.

Here is the configuration for the 4 SFP ports and Fa0, as far as I know there is no configuration for the USB/Console ports.

Hi,

Is traffic is flowing from that port normally when ever a port Flashing orang the only reason i can infer is that port failed diagnostics and is disabled. But have you tried connecting different port and is te same result.

Hope to help !!

As I said, the ports are solid amber and traffic is passing normally.

orange LED from power on

Is this right????  Which LED is orange?

As I said, the ports are solid amber and traffic is passing normally.

Can you post an updated output to the command "sh int g1/0/49"?

The 4 SFP ports and Fa0 are all orange.  As well, the USB and Console ports are both green.  They are lit up from the moment power is applied to the switch.

There's no traffic coming in and out of this.  I mean the traffic counters are very, very minute.

Can you please post the output to the following commands:

1.  sh post

2.  sh controll e Gig 1/0/49

3.  sh run int Gig 1/0/49

4.  sh interface status

It's not passing traffic because it's not in production yet.  I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with it before I add users to it.  Here is the output you requested:

Disable/enable the ports and can you post the output of the "sh logs"?
