Connecting Avaya 9611G  IEEE class 1 devices to a Cat2960s.  How ever some of the phone are registering as class 3 devices no matter what interface the phone is connected to. Typical port config is as follows:

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/2

switchport access vlan 25

switchport mode access

switchport nonegotiate

switchport voice vlan 22

srr-queue bandwidth share 1 30 35 5

priority-queue out

mls qos trust cos

auto qos trust

no cdp enable

spanning-tree portfast

Avaya has not been much help.  Upgraed IOS with no resolution

no cdp enable

Please enable CDP.

Enabled cdp and rebooted the phones. Phone still registers as class 3 device.

Unfortunately, I'm no Avaya guy so I can't give you any hints there.

You can, however, force the Cisco switch to lower the power being pushed.  Do you want to do this?

It depends on the cable length the longer the cable length the higher requirement you can hardcode it
