I have a 3548 that will not boot after a power outage. It continually cycles through the post and reboots. I can break into 'switch:' mode and want to try to reload the IOS on the flash to see if it may be the problem. I don't see the 'xmodem' command available though. Can I copy the IOS back to the swith with TFTP or XMODEM from the switch: prompt?

From the switch: prompt, initialize the flash and load the helper commands. After this you should be able to see the xmodem command
switch:
switch:flash_init
switch:load_helper
After this you can do xmodem
