Hi all. Can you not use the access-group command on a 3550 switch with ipservices IOS on it? I can create an access-list, but can seem to apply it to an vlan interface or routed interface. Anyone have any thoughts?

It is supported on the IP services image and you should be able to apply access-group on the routed interface. You can create VACLS to set the filtering on the vlan interface. Please find the link below for the creating security acls on 3550:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c3550/12225seb/scg/swacl.htm#wp1107203

Please paste " show version " and "show run " from your switch, if you still face any problem.

Make sure you are entering the right command it should be "ip access-group ACL_NAME in"
