Cisco 3560 does not support "set ip next-hop verify-availabilty". I need this command in my config. "set ip next-hop"  do not do the same job.

What can i do?

any other related command in replace of it?

Hi There,

It does support it, I have it on my 3560G.

What version of code are you running?

Dan

SW version 12.2.(50)SE3

Sw image C3560-IPSERVICESK9-M

and switch hardware 3560v2

ok, upgrade to the following as you can see that it is supported on my 3560G

route-map PBR-Management permit 30
match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process3
set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 30

Yes in my ios there is also this config shown. But when i insert another sequence like

"route-map PBR-Management permit 40", debug says unsupported.

Do you have many sequence with the same name. Like

route-map PBR-Management permit 30

route-map PBR-Management permit 40

route-map PBR-Management permit 50

And is it running correctly?

And also this link says set ip next-hop verify-availability is not supported.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3560/software/release/12.2_58_se/configuration/guide/swuncli.html

yes I do jave the sequence, as shown below - one problem I am having is getting the route map on the interface as it allows the command but doesnt show the route map in the config.

route-map PBR-Management permit 10

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process1

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 610

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 20

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process2

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 620

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 30

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process3

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 630

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 40

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Information

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 640

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 50

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Supervisory

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 650

route-map PBR-Management permit 10

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process1

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 610

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 20

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process2

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 620

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 30

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Process3

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 630

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 40

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Information

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 640

!

route-map PBR-Management permit 50

match ip address Route-Map-ACL-Management-Supervisory

set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.11.120.161 1 track 650

same problem with me i think.

I have also do these. But when show running config, there is no ip policy route-map command. And when typing show ip policy it is blank.

when you connect via serial port, and open the "debug ip policy" and set another sequence to the PBR-Management

you have also see unsupported messaage.

any update daniel

anyone help me?
