Friends, when I do a show version, how can I determine if the 3560G switch is using EMI or SMI software?

Close to the bottom of the show version output you would see the Model Number and if it shows.
WS-C3560-24PS-E - EMI
WS-C3560-24PS-S - SMI

When you issue a 'show version' this 1st line of the output should say the software version and feature set (C3560-IPBASE or C3560-IPSERVICES). It is possible that switches shipped with IP Base (SMI) are running IP Services (EMI) or Advanced IP Services, however the hardware ID will remain the same. This is shown towards the end of the 'show version' output by the 'Model number:' - if it ends in a '-S' it was shipped with SMI if it ends in '-E' it was shipped with EMI.
There is a license fee payable for moving from SMI (IP Base) to EMI (IP Services) or Advanced IP Services.
