I have a bit of problem with a 3560g switch on our network.
It has developed memory allocation issues.. some outputs below...
ServerSwG1#show memory summary

in the logging i get various processes reporting memory allocation failure..

Go to a newer IOS and reboot . It's the only way to free up the memory. We have seen memory leak issues on both the 3560's and 3750's series and rebooting is the only way to fix this . Your IOS version is pretty old now . Rebooting by itself will also free up the memory if you so choose not to upgrade , at least until the next time you get memory fragmentation.

thanks very much
i was always meaning to upgrade ios in a timely fashion , but with the amount of devices we have coupled with the fact no one wants downtime makes it very hard
wil the switch work ok for the next few hours?, im kinda worried. it seems to be fine for the moment.
