3725-IOS upgrade

hi ,

can anybody give me the steps of 3725 ios upgrade procedure?/thx

Pretty straightforward -

1) make sure you have enough memory in flash to store the new image

2) if you don't you will need to delete existing image

3) setup a tftp server with the new IOS

4) on the 3745 - copy tftp flash:  then answer the prompt questions

5) if you only this one new image in flash reload the router

6) if you have more than one image -

   3745(config)# boot system flash flash:/

if there is already a boot system flash command in running config for your existing IOS you need to delete that one, enter the one above and then put the old one back so that they are in the right order as the router loads the first IOS it finds in the boot system statements.
