I have configured Cisco 3750 in different places and I often get complains from the Client that the LInk down(routed port with sfp module) and the Uplinks are OK,
When I check the Configuration I found that the Routed port is hanged. Restarting the switch doesnt solve the issue.
I have to Reset the interface using default interface command. and reconfigure it to make the port functional.
Can any one suggest that what might be the cause of this problem and how can i get rid of it ?
PS: The Uplinks are connected as routed links and my 3750-12 port SFP are stacked and connected with Core switch (Cisco 4503)
The stacked distribution switch has 8 to 10 access switch (2960-48PCS) connected by UTP cable as trunk links.
