3750 switch Stack issue

                   Hi all,

We have 2 switches 3750 stacked.

One got rebooted

Here is log

sh switch detail shows switch 2 is master now.

need to confirm if all is ok as master got flipped from 1 to switch 2?????????????

This is normal stackwise behavior when the master gets rebooted. The other switch (your switch 2) assumed the master role once switch 1 went down and now that switch 1 has come back up it does NOT preempt the master role again.

In order for switch 1 to become the master again switch 2 will have to be rebooted, or otherwise removed from the stack.

Are you having problems at this time? If all seems well, all is well. The output that you've posted is normal behavior and not a cause for alarm.

Thanks for reply.

This never happens all the time.

So everything is ok that is great as i was new to stack switches.
