Hi,
You will need an IOS image with IP Services feature set in order to have full OSPF capability enabled.
With the latest 12.2(55)SE version, you have "OSPF for Routed Access" in the IP Base feature set which is the following:
OSPF for Routed Access: Starting from Cisco IOS Release 12.2(55)SE, the IP Base image supports a new feature called OSPF for Routed Access. OSPF for Routed Access is designed specifically to enable you to extend Layer 3 routing capabilities to the wiring closet. It supports only one OSPFv2 and one OSPFv3 instance, with a maximum number of 200 dynamically learned routes.
You can download a new IOS on http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/download/index.html if you have a valid Cisco contract and a working CCO account which will be used to login before you can download the image.

Thats a feature set change and you would probably have to get a new license for that .

Nah, not needed. If you upgrade to 12.2(55)SE IP Base feature set, OSPFv1 is fully supported.
