3750X with different model number not joining stack!

I have two techs in the field right now that can't get the new switch to join the stack...any suggesions?  I'd really appreciate someone helping us right away please...

It could be a number of things:

One of the reasons why the new switches can't join an existing stack is if you have different IOS versions installed on the stack vs the new switches.  All switches should have the same version of IOS.

Are the stacking cables connected?

Yes, we've replace the stack cable...and the ios images are identical. 

What is the error messages you are getting?

Post the "sh version" of the stack and the new switches.
