3825 ISR Bootstrap Version

While monitoring one our of 3825's on bootup, I noticed the following:

System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport

Copyright (c) 2006 by cisco Systems, Inc.

System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T10, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport

Copyright (c) 2008 by cisco Systems, Inc.

This seems to be common with this particular router model. Am I looking at two distinctly different bootstrap versions on the same router? Any idea why there would be two versions and, more importantly, if I'm updating the rommon image which version would I be updating?

Thanks for your help.

***EDIT***

Performing a "showmon" from rommon mode displays the following:

ReadOnly ROMMON version is:

System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport

Copyright (c) 2006 by cisco Systems, Inc.

Upgrade ROMMON version is:

System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T10, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport

Copyright (c) 2008 by cisco Systems, Inc.

If I'm reading the above right than I am assuming the first Bootstrap version cannot be removed and the second is whatever latest release you have upgraded to. Input from anyone with additional insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

12.4(13r)T10 isn't the latest.  I don't have the complete list at home but you can upgrade to the latest release.  One of the feature of the latest release is the ability to boot from a USB stick.
