Hi!

I need to know if the model ws-c3850-12x48u-s has 48 ports 10/100/1000 or only 36 are 10/100/1000 and the 12 are 1gb/10gb.

In some cisco specs i saw both descriptions.

Example:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3850-series-switches/data_sheet_c78-720918.html

and

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/catalyst-3850-series-switches/models-comparison.html

I only need 2 ports 1GB/10GB, the others has to be 10/100/1000.

Someone knows witch spec is the right one??

Thx!

Copper or SFP?

the others has to be 10/100/1000.

PoE or non-PoE.  mGIG or non-mGIG?

WS-C3850-12X48U means the following:

1.  48 ports 10/100/1000BaseTx;

2.  All ports are PoE/PoE+/uPoE;

3.  Of the total 48 ports, 12 of the ports (the ones with the blue bar on the bottom) support mGIG (aka 802.3bz)

If you need an SFP/SFP+ ports capable of supporting one 1 Gbps and one 10 Gbps, then you'll need to order the C3850-NM-2-10G module (SFP/SFP+ modules not included).
