4507-Cisco Network Assistant-No VLAN

I am trying to figure out why I cannot configure VLAN's on the ports of my 4507 through CNA.  I am using CNA 5.5   I was able to a while ago then we put in a new VOIP system and now I do not even see the VLAN option for my 4507.  My other switches in my community allow me to change VLAN's  just not the 4507

Hi,

Is the 4507 set to VTP client mode?

Thanks

Chris

How would I check?

Same issue here. After upgrading from CNA 5.4 to CNA 5.5, I am unable to mange VLANs via the interface. Can't create nor set VLANs on the ports.

I'm going to uninstall and revert back to 5.4.

Previous poster made reference to VTP, so here's my config.

IMA-Core-4507#sho vtp status
VTP Version capable             : 1 to 3
VTP version running             : 1
VTP Domain Name                 : imavlans
VTP Pruning Mode                : Disabled
VTP Traps Generation            : Disabled
Device ID                       : 0023.04cd.fa80
Configuration last modified by 0.0.0.0 at 0-0-00 00:00:00
Local updater ID is 172.16.1.4 on interface Vl1 (lowest numbered VLAN interface found)

Feature VLAN:
--------------
VTP Operating Mode                : Server
Maximum VLANs supported locally   : 1005
Number of existing VLANs          : 18
Configuration Revision            : 0
MD5 digest                        : 0x06 0xB1 0x88 0x48 0x94 0xDC 0xB9 0x90
                                    0x7D 0x36 0x0A 0x04 0xE7 0x72 0xF4 0x30
IMA-Core-4507#

Confirmed...

Switched back to CNA version 5.4, and I am once again able to manipulate VLANs.

Either I screwed up my 4507's config by not doing something correctly (somewhat likely , or 5.5 has a bug...

Thankfully, I sometimes save the "old" versions of software.

Hi,

I am having the same issue and configured w/ redundant supervisors. But I can't read the bug report. Is there a work around for this problem other than installing cna 5.4? 5.4 does not recognize all of the blades in the chasis.

Thanks,

Steve
