4507R - POE requirements

What do you need power wise if you are intending to supply POE via a 4507R ?

Do you need POE capable psu's and POE capable ethernet line cards ?

Or if you had a normal psu already installed could you just purchase a POE capable ethernet line card ?

Hi Mark,

You need both POE capable power supplies and the POE capable ethernet line card. Both has to be there otherwise the POE will not work on 4500.

I think uf u have a POE capable line card then it gets automatically power.
