I have a 4507R with dual 1300 watt power supplies. I want to upgrade them to the 2800 watt supplies. Can I do this hot by changing one at a time? Or do I need to power down the whole thing?

Hello Patrick,
it should be possible to do it one by one without switching the whole device
you can get some warning during the process telling that the two power supplies don't match.
For example we change damaged power supply on the fly without problem.
Hope to help

You can hotswap failed power supplies although i have never done it with 2 different watt power supplies.
I would recommend arranging an outage for this sort of thing just to be on the safe side.

I ended up powering down the whole thing and swapping power supplies. It was quick and easy.
Thanks all,

Patrick,
You can hot swap power supplies. Yes, you will want to swap out the power supplies one at a time. You will likely see error messages that the power supply wattages are mismatched. Although you are able to do this I would caution doing this after hours just in case.
