4948 boot problem

My 4948 box cannot get past rommon. When I

issue a reset command I get the following:

filesystem version 0x10001 is not supported**********************

Device Internal Flash Memory needs to be formatted with a newer version of IOSimage and netload?

boot: can not load "bootflash:cat4000-i5s-mz.122-25.EWA9.bin"

from IOS to poin

I have not been able to find any info on how to format bootflash:

If you do a "dir bootflash: at the rommon prompt what does it show for an image ?

Here is the result of dir bootflash:

rommon 4 >dir bootflash:

filesystem version 0x10001 is not supported

Device Internal Flash Memory needs to be formatted with a newer version of IOS

dir: cannot open device "bootflash:"
