500 series switch Voice & Data VLANs

Hi there, is it possible to configure a port with the Smartport role of "Phone & Desktop" on a 500 switch and have the two devices (phone & pc) connected to the same port in seperate VLANs and subnets and route between the VLANs?? I can configure this no problem using the Smartport role "desktop" and by placing two ports in seperate VLANs and subnets and can route between the VLANs using a port configured as smartport "router" plugged into a 2600 router. But i have to have each device plugged into a seperate port. Is it possible to have the phone and pc plugged into the same port on different VLANs and subnets like the auxilary VLAN config on other Catalyst switches??

Hi

Yes, this is exactly as on your other switches - the phone and PC will be in seperate VLANs and the 26000 will route between them.

This is the same as aux vlan on CatOS or voice vlan on IOS (with these switches running IOS behind the WebGUI)
