6500 IOS Image upgradation

Hi,

I have a 6500 switch with Sup2 and MSFC2 card on it. The switch is running in the Native IOS mode. I am supposed to upgrade the IOS such that the new IOS has to support the VRRP.

The switch is presently having the IOS version 12.1(26) and similar version on its MSFC2.

Using the IOS planner tool, I found out that c6k222-jsv-mz.122-18.SXD7b.bin IOS does support the VRRP. But I am not sure that this IOS is the boot image or the boot-loader image.

Can any one suggest me which IOS is supports VRRP and whether I have to upgrade the boot image or the bootloader image.

Regards,

SH.

That looks like the enterprise IOS image . You do not even need a bootloader image with msfc 2 .
