I have a 6509 with a CMM module. I configured its GE1/0 interface and I can ping its IP from any other devices. However on the CMM, I can only ping its default gateway address, but none of other devices. Is this normal?
I had to configure one recently and ran into some of the same behavior. If you have everything configured correctly try to do a soft reset of the CMM module. It seemed to make things work for me.
