6509 IOS License Question

  Hi guys, two questions about IOS License

  I have today 2 6509 switches with a IOS Advanced Services SSH.

  I bought 2 news supervisors with a IOS IP Services SSH to replace the today supervisors.

  I'm using IOS 12.2, not 15.x

  Two questions about License...

01) Can I change the licenses features from one supervisor to another (Ex. use the IOS Advanced Services SSH in the new supervisors

       and use IOS IP Services SSH in the today supervisor). I don't know if the license can be used only with the original hardware.

02) If I won't use more the today supervisors, can I get the IOS Advanced Services SSH and install in the new Supervisors ??

Hello Andre,

this is an HW replacement so you are entitled on installing the IOS Advanced Services on the new Supervisors

12.2 has no licensing concept, so actually the supervisor will boot with the IOS image on the flash
