6509 Module Boot Device

Hi, module 3 of one of our 6509s shows cf:4 as its boot location. This module had failed and had to be reloaded from cf:4 which is supposed to be the default application partition. The other 6509s that have not had a module failure this way has no entries in their boot order. This isn't a big deal, but I was wondering if there is a way to have cf:4 not show up on this switch. Just want to keep the configs the same.

Thanks.

For Catalyst operating system software, you can perform a full memory test when you enter the set boot device bootseq mod# mem-test-full command. This command is specific to Catalyst operating system software and is not available in Cisco IOS software.
