6509 sup2 HW version difference, any impact?

Ive a 6509 installed with 2 sup2a modules (in standby mode) but noticed the HW versions of these sup2's differ somewhat but the SW versions are the same. Would there be an impact if the master sup2 were to fail and the standby sup2 with the lower HW version spec were to go active? bear in mind that the sw versions are both the same. I am just worrying over nothing here?

Hi Alan,

AFAIK different hardware revision number does not matter as long as you have same hardware model and software image you are good to go.

As you have 2 sup2a modules they are same hardware model.
