Thanx for your prompt reply....can you be more specific as to what the problem is?,How critical is this error message, is it likely to cause service outage.Is there any way of telling which of the two modules is generating this message.
we do have two WS-X6816-GBIC modules in this switch....these modules also have a DFC sub-module.
sorry I cannot be any more specific than that. From what I have read these errors normally indicate that you should expect connectivity issues. Of some sort :) sorry - no more specific than that. I have seen a link to a blog where the explanation should have been, but its not working at the moment.
