800 Series purchases

Hi,

We are looking at the Cisco 800 series.

None of our wholesalers have the ISCO877-M-K9, is it possible to buy this in Australia.

Secondly, can anyone clarify the difference between CISCO877-K9 and CISCO877-SEC-K9 (what does the security bundle plus feature set provide).

Re: 800 Series purchases

Hi Joshua,

Have a look at Table 3 in this good Q & A doc for a good side by side comparison of the "feature set bundles";

Table 3. Cisco IOS Software Features for Cisco 870 Series Routers

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_qanda_item0900aecd8028a982.shtml

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_data_sheet0900aecd8028a976.html

Here is one place that popped up (quick search) that sells and ships the CISCO877-M-K9 in Australia;

Hope this helps!

Re: 800 Series purchases

Hi,

You may have seen this already.. but best place for this info is at whirlpool..

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/818227.html

If you havent already tried this - ExpressData would be the biggest distributor in... you could ring them and ask if the model is available and is there local reseller you could purchase from..

Be careful of dodgy crowds selling 2nd hand gear, or imported equipment, you may run into support issues etc.

Cheers,

Tim.
