802.1x and List of Methods

Hello, I am Patricio. I have a couples of questions about 802.1x and its configurations on the c3560. 1.- If 801.1x only works with Radious, it makes sense to define a list of methods different from the default? And, How I can to associate a list of methods, different than the default, to the interfaces? Thank in advance.

Hello Patricio,

according to configuration guide the list of methods needs to use the default name:

aaa authentication dot1x {default} method1

because default is in curls and because group radious is the only supported method.

Though other keywords are visible in the command-line help string, only the group radius keywords are supported.

the result of this is that you cannot configure two different methods lists for 802.1X authentication.
