Hello,
I have to add a vlan to existing port-channels in a IOS to nexus enviroment.
My question is this:
Can I just add the vlan to the port-channel interface OR do I have to add the vlan to the interfaces in the port-channel AND the port-channel interface?
I can clarify further if needed. In the past i added to both interfaces in the Po and the Po, but was recently told that is not necessary.
Thanks in advance!
Tony

Just add it to the port channel SVI .

Hi Anthony
You need to add allowed vlans only to port-channel interface. Vlan config will be populated to port-channel members.

Is there any impact i.e. link flaps, packet drops after configuration?

As long as you are using the ADD command then there should be no downtime to the link.
If you forget the ADD word in the command, there could be downtime
