All,
I have a routed access designed network so as you already know the access switches are routing. I have two 10 gig uplinks configured with IP's that go down to the distribution blocks and a VLAN interface with an address on the switch with all the interfaces in it. When configuring the netowrks for the EIGRP routing protocol do I have to advertise the vlan interface also or can I just advertise the two uplinks only since the vlan interface sits behind the two routed uplinks?

You need to explicitly configure the VLAN to be advertised via the routed uplinks to the distribution devices. You can do that one of two ways under the eigrp process configuration - with network statements or redistribute connected.
