Aironet 1200 - Ping between two wireless customer

Hello,

I have a problem with my access point.

In fact, customers can connect well ping RJ45 customers but not between them.

Would you have a solution?

scheme:

Mobile1 -> 192.168.0.10

Mobile2 -> 192.168.0.11

Server1 -> 192.168.0.20

Aironet1 -> 192.168.0.1

ping between Server1 and Mobile1 -> Ok

ping between Mobile1 and Aironet1 -> Ok

ping between Mobile2 and Server1 -> Ok

ping between Mobile2 and Aironet1 -> Ok

ping between Mobile1 and Mobile2 -> KO

Sorry it's an automatic translation

Re: Aironet 1200 - Ping between two wireless customer

Hi, Merice Julien...

Maybe you've enabled the Public Secure Packet Forwarding (PSPF) feature on the AP? PSPF prevents client devices associated to an AP from communicating with other client devices associated to the this AP...

Can you display the confg of AP?

More info:  Is this autonomous or controller-based AP?

Do you have a firewal enabled in either one of them?

Can these mobile clients ping something else on the wireless apart from each other?

Like a laptop that is associated to the same SSID for example?

No Firewall and no mobile client don't ping other mobile client.

Ex :

MobileClient1 --> 192.168.30.20

MobileClient2 --> 192.168.30.6

MobileClient3 --> 192.168.30.5

Aironet --> 192.168.30.1

RJClient1 --> 192.168.30.25

RJClient2 --> 192.168.30.31

RJClient1 ping MobileClient1 --> OK

RJClient1 ping MobileClient2 --> OK

RJClient1 ping MobileClient3 --> OK

RJClient2 ping MobileClient1 --> OK

RJClient2 ping MobileClient2 --> OK

RJClient2 ping MobileClient3 --> OK

Aironet ping MobileClient1 --> OK

Aironet ping MobileClient2 --> OK

Aironet ping MobileClient3 --> OK

MobileClient1 ping RJClient1 --> OK

MobileClient1 ping RJClient2 --> OK

MobileClient1 ping Aironet --> OK

MobileClient1 ping MobileClient2 --> KO

MobileClient1 ping MobileClient3 --> KO

MobileClient2 ping RJClient1 --> OK

MobileClient2 ping RJClient2 --> OK

MobileClient2 ping Aironet --> OK

MobileClient2 ping MobileClient1 --> KO

MobileClient2 ping MobileClient3 --> KO

MobileClient3 ping RJClient1 --> OK

MobileClient3 ping RJClient2 --> OK

MobileClient3 ping Aironet --> OK

MobileClient3 ping MobileClient1 --> KO

MobileClient3 ping MobileClient2 --> KO

Re: Aironet 1200 - Ping between two wireless customer

It works! (like say Apache)

Is it possbile to allow only certain ports with PSPF?

Thank you very much.

Re: Aironet 1200 - Ping between two wireless customer

I'm afraid I do not quite understand your question, but if you mean by "ports" tcp udp ports, no... PSPF works like protected ports on the Cisco switches. No exchange of unicast, broadcast, or multicast traffic occurs between protected ports.
