I seem to be having trouble access the WAN interface from machines inside the LAN behind my RSV4000. I'm sure there is something simple I'm missing to allow this through but after a few hours looking I just can't seem to find it.

Hello
I am not sure I understand you question - why are you wanting to access your wan interface from inside your lan -
Also how are you trying to connect to it?

We have a few web applications that self-reference via DNS using the external address, we do this so we can access from outside the network. The internal hosts use the same applications, so receive the external IP when doing a lookup.
This is HTTP and a pair of custom ports.
Perhaps an example:
Client http browser calls 'http://company.com/app/frontpage', which connects to a server at server.company.com:4312.
The problem is that server.company.com resolves to the external IP/interface, so clients in this particular LAN cannot access them when using the RSV4000. I have routed server.company.com to the internal address, but this causes the application to be inaccessible from outside the LAN.
