Hello,
I have a point to point connection between two routers sharing the same VLAN. The link works, and traffic traverses, but i cannot ping the interfaces from one side to the other.
I need these pings in order to use RSROB. I have disabled the access-lists on both routers but STILL cannot ping from one to the other.
This has become a huge challenge for me as i cannnot for the life of me find the problem. Like i said traffic travels the link just fine, not ICMP. Could it be that a setting on one of the routers is set to 'no echo-reply' or something?
