Hi,

I want to set the two Fa port on 2651XM to be a port channel, but don't see the channel-group command under the interface. I did try few IOS, they are the same. Does the 2651XM support this?

Thanks,

Ryan

Hello Ryan,

The routed ports on this router do not support bundling into EtherChannel. I suppose that the only EtherChannel supported on 2651XM can be configured on switchports of installed HWIC or NM switching modules.

I am sorry to disappoint you here.

Best regards,

Peter

The first ISR series I know that supports EtherChannel on its built-in ports is the 2800 series.

Hello Joseph,

This surprises me a lot. I do not currently have any access to 2811 or higher but the 2801 I have handy does not appear to support it:

Cisco IOS Software, 2801 Software (C2801-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(4)XC2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Synched to technology version 12.4(5.13)T

Peter, oops, except the 2801 -  I should have noted that.
