Trying to extract tar file in flash. I deleted all bin files to free up room, but still fails on space. Any ideas?
The primary idea was to add manager to the switch.

You don't have enough space to extract a .tar file directly from the switch file system.
You must perform this task from a tftp server, please refer to this documentation:
I recommend copying the .tar file to a TFTP server, delete the .tar file from the switch file system and perform the process as described in the URL above.
If you don't reboot the switch, during the steps outlined above, you should be fine.

Hi Edison,
Thanks for the info. It has completed
the TFTP process, and seems okay. It
did get a timed-out msg at the end. Not
sure what that is about, but everything appears fine.
Thanks Again
Gregg
