Arp and Mac table -Local Switching

basic question here...

I have a Nexus 5010 with a bunch of 2148 hanging off it which apparently doesn't support local switching. I will have a Layer 3 Collapse Core/Distribution and the Nexus will be my Layer 2 access for serverfarm. If I created 2 ServerFarm VLANs, I assume for servers on Vlan A to talk to Vlan B, the first frame will be routed up to the core, but subsequent frames will be switched btwn the 2 VLANs and do not need to go up the Core for routing right?

Thanks

No local switching, all packets between Vlans will go up to the Core.
