I have an ASA 5505, I enable ports 6 and 7. Configured auto for speed and duplex. I cannot get the ports on.
The device is AXIS T8129 PoE extender and the compliant standards are the following:
IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at
The extebder should be compliant with the ASA.

I did do the no shut command.
I think it is the devices themselves because I grabbed an IP phone and instantly the port supplied PoE.
Thanks,

Actually I found out you have to run LLDP on a switch since it is a non-cisco device. Can you run LLDP on a ASA 5505?
