Assistance with which switches/routers to use?

I am in the process of designing a network.

The main building has two floors, so does the second and third building.

I have in my main building 1st floor 49 users, main building second floor 43.

Building 2 first floor 33 users, building 2 second floor 33 users.

Building 3 first floor 31 users, building 3 second floor 33 users.

I intend to use seperate switches on each floor in building 2 and 3 with routers. I also plan to use a fiber backbone on each floor from the main building.

I have looked at the Cisco's web site but I am a bit stuck as to what to use.

Any assistance will help.

No data throughput has been provided.

Hi Bay,

You can go for Cisco Catalyst 3750G-48TS which has 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP ports or all the floors and buildings.

You can use 10/100/1000 ports for users and SFP ports for fiber backbone.

You can also use these switches in stack fashion where you can stack 2 3750 one from each floor in one building together and same you can follow for all your buildings

If cost is a factor in your setup you can also go for Cisco Catalyst 3560G-48TS which will again give you 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP ports but will not give you stacking capability.
