Hi All,
I have now to look at QoS, I find switch already configured with Cisco-Pohne auto QoS configured.
currently the following command are configured on the interface configuration :
Interface fa0/1
sw acc vl 1
switchport mode acces
switchport nonego
switchport voice vlan 2
srr-queue bandwith share 10 10 60 20
priority-queue out
mls qos trust device cisco-phone
mls qos trust cos
auto qos voip cisco-phone
spanning-tree portfast
service-policy input AutoQoS-Police-CiscoPhone
but when I issue the command:
show mls qos int fa0/1 queue (on the same switch)
I got the following output information :
Egress Priority Queue : enable
Shape queue weights (absolute) : 25 0 0 0
Shared queue weight : 10 10 60 20
The port badnwith limit : 100 (operationnal bandwith :100.0)
The port is mapped to qset : 1
I red Shape queue override shared queue configuration on the same interface, I understood here the queue 1 has 25% of bandwith reserved and limit to. Queue 2 to 4 has no Shape queue configuration so the 75% on the bandwith remain on that interface would be divised between the remain queue.
I the configuration, I did not find any interface command which configured shapping default configuration for all interfaces on the switch. But I like to understand from where they shapping configuration of the queue 1 is comming from ? their is any default configuration (which is not shown) which can explain this behavior !
I just would like to understand, I'm not very happy to have configured some stuff which I can't explain behavior after fact, when comming time to support them after it would be great to understand those properly.
Thanks everybody !
