Re: Bandwidth measure

Hi,

One way to see this is to use an application like 'iperf'. Send a UDP stream at 256k and see that you receive it at the other end.

Re: Bandwidth measure

Is it 256 MB or 256 KB , you say it is both in your note . Most org's don't have a 256 meg line into the internet but maybe some do if they have a lot of money to spend every month . :-)

Re: Bandwidth measure

HI

Thanks to all share with me.

At first i am clear to all that my line is 256kbs which proved by ISP.

I am not talking about internet spped , you provide link is nice which give online speed test.

but i am worried that isp give me acccurate 256kbs line or not. many time times they say we give you 256kbs line but thet actual give 196 kbs line. so how I can measure that they realy give me dedicated 256 kbs line. this line is connecte dmy router.

I think, all are expert guy clear of my view.

thanks

Re: Bandwidth measure

Install any monitoring tool and see the utilization pattern when you pump data.
