I have a 4503 as L3 and 2950 as L2 and there are two uplinks from 4503 to 2950, It runs over 1GB but I want to restrict it upto 3MBps by using “bandwidth” command will it work or not?

Please help and Thanks in advance

Bandwidth command is more used to guarantee a minimum rather than restrict the maximum.

You want to look at the POLICE or SHAPE options. Now this assumes you mean the BANDWIDTH option in a QoS policy-map. The bandwidth command on a interface does not affect the actual speed of a physical interface.
