Best practice for redundant san and jumbo frames

Hi, I have a question on Jumbo Frames and if its worth trying to enable.

From what I gather The Cisco 3560X and 3750g / g2 / x all can support Jumbo frames?

Is it possible to turn on just for a particular isolated VLAN?

If not, what if its turned on for a pair of 3560X switches, but the core switch they trunk back to does not have jumbo frames turned on?  Big issues?

Is there a huge benefit from turning on Jumbo Frames in a shared storage environment heavily utilizing NFS?

Basically I want to see if I can turn on Jumbo Frames for the attached proposed network diagaram only for the two Cisco 3560X and the devices connected directly to it - not the core switch stack.  This diagram is just a proposal, it's nothing in production today.
