boot-start-marker and boot-end-marker

We have two new 6503E/12.2(17d) installed. I found there is no boot-start-marker and boot-end-marker seen in the config.

When I put the boot command, I didnt see these two only boot command itself in the config.

Does it affect anything?

thanks,

Han

Re: boot-start-marker and boot-end-marker

Hello Han,

do you see the boot system commands ?

compare also with sh bootvar

boot-start-marker and boot-end-marker are simply there to help us locate boot commands: for several years they weren't present but boot system commands could be used in the same way

use

sh run | inc boot system

sh conf | inc boot system

So I think it shouldn't be a real issue

Hope to help

Giuseppe
