booting up router from tftp

Hi,

I am booting up my router from a tftp server (Another router on the network or tftp application running on a PC).

I have configured

boot system tftp://1.1.1.1/<ios filename>. When i reboot it goes into rommon, i then have to issue tftpdnld -r to initiate boot from tftp server

What is the config-register value to boot from tftp server? so i do not have to do it manually everytime router reboots?

Nki

Hello,

Have you saved your configuration on the router? Does your router has a

route to the tftp server? Can you post any error message you get when the

router is booting?

Regards,

NT
