buffer tweaking on 3825 router

Does anyone have a link or reference for tweaking buffers? I have a 3825 that is serving as my internet gateway and looking into what seems to be a growing sluggisness on the internet I discovered the following. It seems that there is an excessive amount of misses but want to make sure that I do not overbalance memory or starve other processes.

suggestions / recommendation ??

Have a look at this link. thoug hit does not talk about 3825, it shoudl give an idea

Also it is advisable to speak to TAC before doing any chnages to the buffer

I concur, don't F* with the buffers unless you have a really good reason to do so and really know what you're doing - and the impact of this. TAC is the way to go - 100%.
