Hi

I have an issue with a c3750x that was previously working with a good config on it which included the "no ip setup express" command.

Basically now when I boot the switch it gets this far and stops...

Using driver version 1 for media type 2

Base ethernet MAC Address: 44:d3:ca:09:5d:80

Xmodem file system is available.

The password-recovery mechanism is enabled.

Initializing Flash...

I am unable to halt the boot process (with the break sequence ) and get in to ROMMON mode and the MODE button on the front of the switch isnt allowing me to break the boot sequence either.

If anyone out there can offer any suggestions I'd be very grateful.  Thanks.

Try this ... Stand the appliance on the Mode button and power it up.  Wait for 30 seconds and see whether or not the appliance goes into a full-blown factory reset.

If not, then I recommend you contact Cisco and get the appliance RMA-ed.

And by the way, please avoid (at all cost) using IOS version 12.2(58)SE and later.  If you need a stable IOS version, try 12.2(55)SE8 or 15.0(2)SE4.  Don't even attempt to try anything else.
