C2960 Switch

Hello.

I work on 2960s and have to update the IOS on them to the newer one. When I go to delete the old one i use the delete /recursive c2960* then I have to hold down enter so that it deletes all the file. Now my question is, is there an adjustment to the command that will just delete it all. Thanks

Alan

Re: C2960 Switch

Did you see the /force option?

Rack1SW2#delete ?
  /force      Force delete
  /recursive  Recursive delete
  flash:      File to be deleted
  nvram:      File to be deleted

Jerry's right (+5).  You need to use the combination of "delete /force /recur flash:

" switch/option.
