c3550 process issue

We are running with c3550 it was generating huge amount of logs due to some earthing issue, so to avoid the huge logs storage we have disabled the logging option, unfortunately after which the CPU utilization will raise to 25 to 30%, if i enable logging it will be back to normal ie.1%.

the IOS used is c3550-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5.bin

pls advice.

Don't know why that would make any difference unless you had a acl that had logging statements in it and its trying to write to a non existent log. 25-30% is very high and not really anything to worry about though.

there is an acl access-list 31 deny any log

but it is not applied to any interface.
